It does a solid job showing how Nagash becamse the towering liche of death personified from his beginnings as the head of the Priest Cult back in Nehekhara, the rise of Neferata and the creation of the vampires, the creation of the Tomb Kings as they exist as undead entities and most importantly.more skaven. The Rise of Nagash (Warhammer Chronicles). Especially the Skaven book as that is probably the most iconic and provided an amazing base for them to be portrayed in further lore/novels.Ī few from my personal library would be.ġ. To reiterate Dedmosh, the Gotrek and Felix novels (and Vampire Wars).

Dan Abnett and WIlliam King are by far the best writers in the Black Library and anything they write is awesome. They are not short but are a quick read bc they are very well written. Darius Hinks is also pretty established too his books have always captured my mind
